StreamShark Announces API Integration Between its Encoder Management Solution and AWS Elemental Live from Amazon Web Services for Live Streaming to Social Media

(d.b.a StreamShark), today announced an API integration between its StreamShark Encoder Management Solution and Amazon Web Services (AWS) Elemental Live for real-time remote configuration and control of key encoder settings, including management of contribution feeds within StreamShark.
AWS Elemental Live provides real-time video and audio encoding for linear TV broadcast and live streaming to new media platforms. The software-based solution simultaneously processes multiple video outputs, delivering high-quality, high-efficiency performance to format live video for any device. Further integration with StreamShark’s sophisticated Event Management Workflow offers a single, easy to use control interface to go live on StreamShark and simulcast to social destinations.
StreamShark’s Encoder Management Solution works across subnets and even globally distributed data centers, allowing remote management of hardware and virtualized encoders across a number of challenging networking scenarios, including strict corporate firewalls. Once the customers’ encoders or cloud instances are added to their StreamShark account, they can be dynamically linked to live streaming events within StreamShark. Swapping encoders takes just seconds. Customers can then monitor their encoders at a glance and take rapid action. This new workflow not only brings compelling efficiencies but also significantly simplifies the live streaming process for customers and their stream operators.
